Google AdSense in Password-Protected Areas?

At present, Google AdSense does not support ads in password-protected areas. There is hope however that this limitation or restriction would go away.

MySpace Bans Affiliate Marketing

MySpace is coming down hard on members exploiting it for commercial purposes as highlighted in Allan Gardyne’s latest issue of his newsletter.

So, if you’re considering making money blogging on MySpace, you better now ditch that idea or rather, be very subtle about your marketing endeavor.

This will be bad news for affiliate marketers who had been successful at cashing in on the use of a huge social networking club like MySpace as a marketing platform.

It will also be bad news to the publishers and affiliates of products dealing with marketing on MySpace; these products are rendered irrelevant in an instant.

Easily Add Podcast to Your Blog and Drive Traffic!

Podcasting is getting serious attention nowadays but relative to blogs, the podcast sphere is still relatively small by comparison. In a recent seminar that I attended, internet marketing guru Derek Gehl did point out that now is a good time to capitalize on the podcast space as it’s still pretty much a new frontier.

Recently, someone asked me about how I implemented the podcast feature that I have on this blog. If you have listened to any of my podcast, it’s not me who is in the podcast. ;)

AdSense for Audio On the Way?

Wow! Contextual advertising over podcast? Is this a rumor?

A little over month ago, Jennifer Slegg (a.k.a. JenSense) stumbled upon an interesting job posting in Google. The position advertised is for Strategic Partner Development Manager for AdSense for Audio.

Some digging revealed that AdSense for Audio was originally slated for Q3 release, but it’s apparently going through some delays.
