New Google Apps Referrals

April 16th, 2007 by Jason Leave a reply »

Two weeks ago, Google announced the Google Apps referrals program. Google Apps provides customized email addresses (powered by Gmail), Google Calendar, Google Talk, Docs & Spreadsheets and Page Creator. It’s free and it’s hosted by Google. [UPDATE: Google has retired its referrals program in August 2008.]

Google Apps publishers earn $5 per referral after the following conditions are met:

  • Referred visitor signs up for Google Apps with a domain that has not already been signed up for the service;
  • That person’s domain must then have one or more Google Apps email accounts in use for four consecutive weeks.

However, the referral program is currently available to US publishers only.
