Hostmonster has given its hosting control panel (cPanel) a new look! It now spots a much more pleasant-looking and user-friendly interface.

The Potential in Text Link Ads

I didn’t pay much attention to it earlier. I should have… it’s Text Link Ads (TLA). The ads are in the form of paid text links embedded within a site.

To date, I’ve gotten a little over $320 in total from Text Link Ads within the last few months of this year. This is from a software development-related site of mine.

LiewCF is #1 for John Chow on Google!

Guess who’s at the top of the search engine result page for the keyword “John Chow” on Google.com.my? Malaysian blogger LiewCF! In fact, his blog post on John Chow got him to positions #1 and #2 in the SERPs. John Chow is no where on page one. This has probably got to do with JohnChow.com’s demotion from the search engine ranks in Google recently and the fact that the .my version of Google does indeed have a localized slant.

Amazon FPS / Payments – Another PayPal?

Amazon PaymentsAmazon has launched the Amazon Flexible Payment Service (FPS) which is an extension of the existing Amazon Payments. With this service, we can look forward to third-party merchants offering online payments via Amazon’s reliable and scalable payment infrastructure.
